Rhoda Bloom's abstract landscapes represent a penchant for a palette of earth, water and sky tones evolved from the natural beauty seen by the artist during residence in the U.S. Virgin Islands, travel in the Caribbean, Europe, and years in south Florida.  The lyrical work offers a world of tranquility opposed to the chaotic life in the real world.  New York City and the east coast influences the work in its complexity and energy.
 
Exhibits include one-person exhibitions, group and invitational shows in Boston, New York City, North Carolina, St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, Miami and Orlando, Florida, and California.  Work is placed in corporate and private collections throughout the United States.
