Elaine is a local potter who has been making, selling, and teaching how to make her slab built pots for over 20 years.
A one day introductory workshop at Corralitos Cultural Center plus a follow-up morning for glazing. Make templates, learn how to tear and texture clay, glaze and produce several items (without a wheel), including a mug, vase, garden pot, butter dish or bowl.
This is a fantastic garden tour at a fabulous price! The perfect way to spend the day with your mom or anyone else! You'll tour lovely, unique gardens throughout Aromas and meet wonderful AHA artists in every garden. You don't miss this wonderful event! Tickets are $15 or 2 for $25 $10 for AHA Members and seniors over 65. Tickets will be available to purchase at the Aromas Grange on event day.

The Aromas Hills Artisans have taken part in the San Benito Open Studios for several years. This is another opportunity to get your art out there and meet like minded folks. _This is a great event for the whole family!
The day starts early at 7:30am with a Pancake breakfast that lasts till 11am, the Street Fair starts at 9am and goes till 4pm, there's a parade at 2pm. Best of all the Aromas Hills Artisans will have their booths set up in front of the park. This is the time to buy your raffle tickets for our Autumn Art Workshops and Raffle. The lucky winners of original artworks donated by the Aromas Hills Artisans will be awarded at Autumn Art. To find out more visit the Aromas Day website.
Take a free* class from one of the Artisans and take your project home with you (*some classes require a small materials fee). This mural is a great example of the Aromas Hills Artisans commitment to our community. Joyce Oroz, AHA artist member designed and helped paint this mural on the side of one of Aromas' historic buildings. Her helpers include, Linda Bjornson, AHA's President, Katherine Stutz-Taylor, Evelyn Pogrowski, Jovita Hilliker and Holly.
Dragonfly Gallery Mural
This is another enchanting mural painted by the Aromas Hills Artisans on the side of the Dragonfly Gallery in Aromas. This mural was designed by Joyce Oroz and painted by Joyce, Linda Bjornson and granddaughter, Sadie, Katherine Stutz-Taylor, Evelyn Pogrowski, Jovita Hilliker. AHA's mural team is looking forward to a few projects in the near future to help beautify our communities.

AHA Honored Paul Burns in 2011 with our Giving Wing to Creativity Award
Paul Burns- Founder and Chief Ceramicist Paul has been associated with tile for 30 years, first assisting his tile maker uncle at the age of ten. He held several jobs within the tile industry and then formed his own company, Fireclay Tile, Inc. in 1985. Since founding Fireclay, Paul has been a pioneer in the ceramic tile industry coming up with numerous inventions, being one of the first to use recycled materials in his products, and earning the trust and respect of thousands of loyal customers. Paul received his BA from University of California at Berkeley. When not at Fireclay, Paul enjoys coaching his daughter’s Little League baseball team. Paul can be reached at paul@fireclaytile.com
