	ARTIST STATEMENT
I have been passionate about the act of creating all my life and now my life is
totally devoted to creating art. I wake up every day eager to see what
will be created through my hands and spirit.

As I was raising my four children I used my life as a homemaker to explore
my love of creating. Plants and gardens were great projects and
I love all the wonderful ways you can create in a kitchen.
I did every possible craft and loved it all. I created a business out of
pressed flowers and I always expressed my art with much drawing and
painting in all mediums.

Twelve years ago I fell in love with clay and continue to explore this medium.
Hand building is my favorite way to create with clay.  In the summer or '06
I took an enameling class and fell in love again, Metal has become my new lover.
I still love paint and clay and continue to play with them.
In between I explored painting with French dyes on silk-- a most sensuous experience.

I have discovered I am a designer as I work with metal and create jewelry.
Each piece is unique and becomes what it wants to become, just like
my paintings and clay pieces. In every medium, I love building
layers of texture, color, and movement.

The art that comes through me is my authentic self/Self speaking it's
truth to me and I love sharing this with others.  I have given many
workshops for Healing Illuminating Mandalas and for Touch Drawing,
both are art processes to bring one in touch with self/Self. I have formed and
facilitated several groups here and abroad for learning and practicing
Universal Principles.

I am currently painting very large abstracts and have moved into adding
fabric, paper, beads, and foil. I continue alternating between paint, clay,
metal and glass.

I am living my dream. I feel like I'm just a baby in all these mediums and
there are unlimited possibilities that I will continue to explore and
discover for the rest of my life.
